REGENT CHOIR♥

Dear Choir members,

In view of the tight schedule and unsuccessful arrangements with the trainers, we will do the snorkelling at another time instead of this holiday.

And also, PLMGS Choir invites us to their performance this coming Friday (30th November). ticket prices are not confirmed. We will be able to learn lots from it. Reply to Ms tay if you are interested.

Please take note that there will be no Choir practice during December.

Dear Choir,

There's no Choir Training on Monday 19th Nov.

On Wed, 21 Nov, You will do 2 main things
1. Warm up Practice performance songs. CD provided.
2. Prepare materials for Booth.

Lien Ching,
select 2 CDs from the Storeroom cabinet (glass) and borrow a CD player from a teacher

JiaLi & Angie,
arrange photo album for choir. decide on number of pages, decorate it too.

Agatha
arrange a roster/ schedule for Fri.
Divide girls into 3 groups to operate between 8.30 - 1.30

Farah,
Prepare a choir costume to display at the booth.

Madeline,
Write/ print list of activities and slot into plastic frame (in glas cabinet in store room)

Sec ones - Wendy, Liying, Esther Kong
Write questions on cards and make boxes nice.
Quiz items
1. 3-5 package of sweets budget i $6
2. quiz cards (mrs choo will pass you small cards)
3. tissue boxes for cards.

On Fri, Agatha & Madel,
Get poles and put up choir banner.

there will be no practice on the 19th

21th will be our own practice - mrs choo will be there as ms tay will be on course.
we will practice pieces on our own.

23rd is the choir booth, and we should be having a practice.
24th is the choir booth plus performance.

ms tay make a cd and choir will sing along.

ms tay would like liyan and madeline to take the mic and invite the audience to sing along.

1. all sec 3s will be promoted to leadership positions. please list your strengths and area of interest/service for 2008.

2. regent open house
day 1 (9 am - 3 pm) - booth: mr liu and mrs choo
items:

concert gear display - agatha
list of activities/achievements - madeline

day 2 (9 am - 1 pm) booth and performance: ms tay and mrs choo
performance times: 11 am and 12 pm
programme: 3 songs each
- you'll never walk alone
- on eagles wings
- unpainted canvas

3. songs: unpainted canvas; i can; as long as i have music
time: mid november (wk3)

4. holiday training: every monday and wednesday (10 am -12 pm)
choir would be on for the whole november.
pls be puntual and pls attend, attendance would be marked and would reflect on cca points during term 1 ' 08.
pls refer to ask and learn message board for updates or seek help from the general office
as ms tay is on stand by for exam duties and may not be able to train you at the last minute.

sec 3 would be excused for the extended week.

5. agatha and lien ching will send the sec 4s' portfolio for binding. to be presented to them in mid november.

6. we will be doing a new t-shirt design. do up a design you like for the choir t-shirt and submit asap to ms tay. if there are no new suitable designs, we will be producing t-shirts with the old design.
