Dear Choir,

Next week, we'll be having full practice on:
- Monday, 4 February 2008
- Wednesday, 6 February 2008
35 minutes after the concert.
- Friday, 11 February 2008
We'll be rehearsing in the hall at 2pm and the rest of the afternoon in the music room.
- Tuesday, 12 February 2008
We will be performing at the hall.

Dear Choir,

We hope to see better behaviour of all choir members.
Also, we hope that our attendance would improve and there will be no more late comings.
We have some new policies with regards to constant late coming and disruptive behaviours during choir practices.
We notice that recently there are many late comers with no valid reasons, hence we have decided to fine these members.
The fine will be that if you're late for more than 10 mins without any documents of absence or valid reasons, you would be fine 50 cents.
The accumulative minutes that you are late would also be recorded in the attendance marksheet and dealt accordingly as reflected in your cca points.
So, please be puntual.
And also, we noticed many members like to use their handphones during choir practices.
We hope to see our members concentrating on the practice and not multi-tasking. It is not only disruptive to other members, but also to the person who is trying to speak, address or teach infront (eg. Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, Ms Tay, SLs). The policy would be safekeeping your phones with our Secretary/Managers/Vice-chairperson until the practice is over. This policy would start next Wednesday. If we see improvements on the following Monday, we might consider dropping this policy but as soon as we see this disruption occuring again, we would start the policy with no hesitation or chances given.
Please understand our reasons for doing all this.
We really do not wish to do this, so we hope all unruly behaviours and attitudes that some members show to the choir would halt.

ps: Voting of choir logo will commence on next Monday after choir practice for the benefit of members whom do not have internet access or find it troublesome to vote in the blog.
Votes will be calculated together with the blog's vote and the logo with the highest number of votes would be officially on the choir-tee. We apologise that we had been dragging this on for so long.

Dear Choir

Done the proper image of the new choir tee using photoshop :x
but still had yet done the back :(
well, here it is !

the design would be something like this.
but the polo shirt for this is the baggy type.
due to some problems, the coloured logo could not be put into the ladies cut polo shirt template.
but we will be using the ladies cut polo shirt for the real choir tee.

Dear Choir

As you know, we will be having a new choir t-shirt.
It would be a white ladies's polo tee, preferably dry-fit.
(it might be a little tight fitting, as ms tay wants us to have a neater image rather than a baggy image. Those who dislike tight fit shirts can get larger sizes from us, but not to the extend of the shirt being over-baggy)
There would also be a choir logo at the front of the shirt.
At the back, it would be a phrase written in black with silver lining:
"Let Our Voices Be Heard".
And at the back, bottom right corner would be a barcode.
We are considering if you girls would like to personalise the shirt with your name.
But extra cost might be charged.
We will let you girls know the price after we have settled all the planning.

The school logo would be in full colour and the treble clef beside it would be much more propotioned. Also, the fonts on the shirt would be much nicer.

This is the logo at the front. This does not look too good cause i draft it with my free hand using photoshop. The one we will be using for the shirt would be the real school logo and a nicer treble clef.

PS: This design has not yet been confirmed, there still might be changes to it and if there is any idea or comments about this design, feel free to tell me or inform me.

Li Yan would be doing the warm-up practices on the next practice. Please give her your utmost attention and support!

Mr Hawk Liu, our new instructor would be coming on next Monday. I hope the Choir could pay full attention to him and also conduct yourself in your best behaviour.

Choir Memo 01/08

Dear Choir

Let's have a great 2008! Some information to note:

Goals
In Choir, we hope to build you up to be a confident young lady capable of using your voice to express yourself in song and speech. It is also our desire you make good friends who will support each other in all healthy interests.

Regular Training
Training or meeting will be on every Monday and Wednesday. We will meet from 3.30pm - 5.30pm till further notice. Please be punctual. Accumulated late coming will be reflected as absence.

During trainings we will work on building our voice, and aural training, learning songs and preparing for any projects or performances that are coming up.

Bring your exclusive choir folder and pencil ALWAYS.
(if you don't have, please go get one.)
